UNC path in Shared Folders slowing down the GUI

Description
In "Add Share" dialog, start typing a UNC path e.g. "
server", the dialog will experience severe delays in response times; the only way appears to be to just paste the path!

I understand, minor but still annoying. Well, the priority is only a coarse hint for us.
Reading your description I'm not that sure that we can anything do about it. Doesn't that happen in other Windows standard dialogs as well?

No, it doesn't happen in other Windows dialogs. Typing a UNC path in the Shared Folders dialog is simply impractical as it stands. To test just type 2 backslashes then start typing the path slowly, it makes you wait 3~ seconds between each stroke. Something's not right there.
