10.8/12A239 (Mountain Lion) / VM Instance crashes when attaching CD or IMG with the "setup wizard"

Description
Steps to reproduce:
- Use a MacBook Pro running 10.8/12A239
- Create a new VM (Mac OS Server) with default settings (running VirtualBox 4.1.16)
- Start VM
- The Wizard will ask you to provide a boot media
- Choose whatever (a MacOS Server CD, or an image)
- The VM will start for a second and then crash

Might be related to #10621
Crash doesn't happen when MacOS 64bit is selected as Guest.
(Please note that the HOST is also an official Apple machine)
