Description
Hanging situation occurs every time VirtualBox (no matter the versions, can be reproduced from 4.1.6 to 4.1.14) is installed in conjunction with EyeTV3 3.5.4 (6788). Application has to be forced quit. Solely application installation doesn't produce any errors. Problem will also send to apple and Elgato. Enclosed Apple-Reports / -Dumps.

Meanwhile there was a hint from ELGATO-Support concerning conflicts within the USB-configuration. Disabling VirtualBox USB-Support, also the USB-EHCPI-Support using VBoxManage. The Hanging Situation was fixed, on the other hand USB within the Virtual Machines is not usable with this setting.
It seems there is an allocation conflict within the USB-environment between VirtualBox and Elgato EyeTV3. Maybe this comment is helpful for further improvements of VirtualBox.
