Virtual Box process hangs on guest login with WDDM driver

Reported by: grennis Owned by:
Component: WDDM Version: VirtualBox 4.1.10
Keywords: hang wddm crash Cc:
Guest type: other Host type: Mac OS X

Description

Windows 7 hangs when I try to login using the WDDM driver (it boots OK when booting to safe mode and changing to the basic driver). Then the Virtual Box process hangs in Mac OS (I get the spinning color wheel) and I have to kill it using Activity Monitor.

Logfile is attached.

Could you try assigning one CPU to you VM instead of 4 and see if it solves the issue?

I spoke too soon.

The VM is hanging on login again (and the virtual box process giving me with spinning color wheel) with only 1 core.

I attached another logfile and the config file.
