unable to log in window vista after installing virtual box guest addition

dear sir,

i wish to bring to your attention about the above issue. After installing the new driver for virtual box guest addition following instruction given in the user manual, then reboot my vista based PC. However, after rebooting, only a blank page was displayed.

My intention to use the virtual box mainly to test out various beta software without leaving any registry keys behind after uninstall them. I need to use the exact replica of my existing pc setting ( as well as web browser etc )for this purpose. I have read again and again all the info available but found that installing the virtual guest addition is the only way ( kindly advice if I was wrong because i really have difficulty to understand the manual). Taking the risk, I installed it. Since i was unable to logged into window to see if it works, i just have to perform system restore so that my pc function as usual. I was unable to test if i can run the exact replica of the host operating system ( my pc) in the virtual box. I have tested various linux system and it worked out fine ( because i do not need to install any additonal new driver ). I still searching for info on how to run host operating system within the virtual box......

Your advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

problem solved but without networking. Failed to install new driver following the instruction in the manual.
