[vbox-dev] VT-x not very stable?

Thanks for the clarification.
 
I've attached the log file when the vm crashed on Windows host with VT-x enabled.
 
The vm works fine without VT-x.
 
The guest is p2v vm from Intel-Mac containing 2 partitions: Windows 7 and Ubuntu 9.04.
 
Interestingly, the Linux partition works fine even when VT-x is enabled, only windows 7 fails

VT-x/AMD-V is the preferred way of virtualization. The VM is probably
not faster than in software virtualization but the virtualization is
''more correct''. The software virtualizaion mode makes many assumptions
about the guest and the guest code is changed during execution to make
it executable on the VM. Such code modifications are visible to the guest
and pity guests aren't happy about this ...
