ver. 7.0.16 Bugs

Reported by: nobel Owned by:
Component: other Version: VirtualBox-7.0.16

Guest type: Linux Host type: Windows

Description

I'm using VirtualBox over 10 years now on windows, I'm Linux user, what I can tell for the last wave of bugs on 7.0.16 it is some how related to drivers layer between guest Linux and Host windows, my first crash with 7.0.16 was when opening FireFox tab on Arch Linux guest that immediately crash giving memory error message box, network was working fine with me no troubles. Why FirsFox specifically because it is the most Linux program depends on latest graphics drive options, I guess. As a user I suggest that this bug is related to the mapping layer between guest kernel drivers (Network, Display) and Windows host drivers not just a Network as stated on the VirtualBox download page. This is not a complete bug report I'm sorry but it is a suggestion to what may cause the bugs because I used to get VirtualBox crashed on 7.0.14 when selecting 3D acceleration, that was a guaranteed crash for my guest Arch Linux OS

If you publish the logs, it would help to find the cause of the troubles.
