mouse integration fails after resuming a saved VM

Description
Since around version 4.1.2, when I resume a saved VM, mouse integration no longer functions. VirtualBox falls back to behaving as if the guest additions are not installed.
Host is Windows Vista, Guest is Debian Linux 3.0.
