Did I understand you correct that you would expect the mouse cursor to be shown in fullscreen mode but actually the mouse cursor is not shown? Do you have 2D/3D acceleration enabled? Is the mouse pointer shown in fullscreen mode if you disable 2D/3D?

Show mouse pointer in 2D/3D disabled. If enabled 2D/3D don't show pointer.
