Access Violation Exception - Visual Studio debugging WebDev.WebHost40

I've been seeing this error with increasing frequency for the past year.

I like using VM's with Virtual Box for my Windows development but this problem is making it nearly impossible to continue.

This problem is listed in this blog entry claiming it is a problem with the VirtualBox memory system. ​http://altamodatech.com/blogs/?p=62

The environment: Windows Server 2008 R2, 64bit

Base Memory:2048 MB Processors:2

Acceleration: VT-x/AMD-V, PAE/NX

The error: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. WebDev.WebHost40 at Microsoft.VisualStudio.WebHost.Host.ProcessRequest(Connection conn)

Host: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 @2.66ghz 8GB ram 64 bit Windows Server 2008 R2 HP

Same with Windows Server 2012. VS2012 Debugging Source Stepping doesn't work at all, it keeps continuing instead of stepping.

Base Memory: 4096 MB, Processors: 2 Acceleration: VT-x/AMD-V, Nested Paging, PAE/NX

(Host is Core i7 16 GB RAM, Windows Server 2012)

The same with Intel Core i7 3630QM on Dell Inspiron 7720. VS2010 from time to time throw this exception. The guiest: Processors 8, PAE/NX , base memory 4gb

Seems to be related to #9659

Please reopen if still relevant with a recent VirtualBox release.
