Shortcut to access the Menu Bar, when it is hidden with

Hi, I regularly don't need the menubar so I have hidden it using:

VBoxManage setextradata global GUI/Customizations noMenuBar,noStatusBar

Now, every now and then I need to access the shared folders gui, for example.

I'd like to have a key combination that let's me access it exactly like in Full Screen mode I can use Right-CTRL + Home and the menu appears supperimposed.

Can you activate this function while in windowed mode with the menu bar hidden please?

Well, try to press HostKey + <HOME> and after that the Arrow Down key. This will show you the file menu. You can switch to other menus using the left/right arrow keys.

The solution suggested 07/28/08 by frank does not work with 2.0.0.

This problem still exists with 2.0.6. The menu is available via HostKey + <HOME> when in fullscreen mode, but not in normal mode with noMenuBar,noStatusBar set.

I would like to add a vote to get this fixed please.

I'd like add that HostKey + <HOME> works when in normal mode without noMenuBar,noStatusBar set (ie, the menu gets focus)

Works with VBox 3.2.4.
