Fedora 15 cannot be resumed from Saved State

Windows and Linux hosts are affected.
VirtualBox 4.0.10 on both hosts. Guest additions are installed and up to date.
The VM will enter a saved state successfully. When I attempt to resume the saved state, the VM immediately crashes with the following error:

It seems to be related to 3D. With 3D off (both Linux and Windows hosts) I can restore the saved state with no crash.
