"View" button does nothing when clicked

Here is my setup:
Host: OSX 10.6.7 Guest: Windows 7 32bit Professional SP1 Virtual Box: 4.0.8 r71778
I have two monitors. Putting the VM in full screen only works on the main screen. Clicking on the "View" menu item while in Full Screen does not bring up the Virtual Screen submenu. It just does nothing. It only comes up if I assign 2 monitors to the VM.
Thanks for looking into this. This will be wonderful when I can run the VM full screen on my secondary monitor!

I have the same problem in version 4.0.12 r72916 for the Mac. When I go full screen and click "view" nothing happens. I really want to move this to the 2nd monitor.
