Snapshots: Snapshots in VMware 7 have a number of advantages: They have automatic snapshots every few days + ability to create new VM from snapshots (aka differencing-immutable images).
Another enhancement of the snapshot system would be; having the ability to branch out from many saved states and from the current one. An example of what I am talking about:
