Compression support

Description
VirtualBox should support compression for disk images. LZO compression would be ideal for this application because it is fast and it achieves a decent compression ratio. VirtualBox could automatically adjust the compression ratio (-1 to -9) based on the host system's CPU speed. The user should also be able to override this and adjust it manually. LZMA2 could also be offered in addition to LZO for those who need higher compression at the expense of speed.

Sorry, this will not happen. Too much effort for too little benefit. If you really need this, put the disk image onto a compressing file system.
