Manager stops responding - replacing selection with clipboard

During the appliance import process - defining the path of my virtual disk - tried to select a portion of the path string with the clipboard. Twice this caused the manager to stop responding.
It did NOT happen simply by changing the cursor position. Some of the text in the path had to be selected.
It happened once WITHOUT a VM running and once WITH a VM running.
