Hello!

I have installed: VirtualBox-4.0.4-70112-Win Host OS: Windows 7 x86 (Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7600]) Guest OS: Windows XP x86 Sp3 (Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600])

I am actively working on a virtual machine guest with Windows XP. And when you run several programs ... in my case, "Borland Delphi 7" and "Embarcadero Delphi 2010" guest operating system reboots with an error. This reboot happens very often!

Using the system check utility drivers:

I uninstalled VirtualBox 4.0.4 and related supplements guest OS.

Installed VirtualBox-3.2.10-66523-Win.exe and it's native add-on guest OS (3.2.10 r66523). Check "verifier.exe /all" was successfull! The guest OS is stable!

PS: Apparently still have to use the old version ........... :(

Thanks, we have reproduced this problem. You could try to install VBox 4.0.4 but keep 3.2.10 additions in the guest, that is do not update additions. Please let me know whether the guest works stable in this case. Thanks.

One week ago has installed to itself VBox 4.0.4, but in guest Windows XP has saved additions guest OS 3.2.10. At once has checked up stability of operation using a command: verifier.exe / all The test has transited successfully!! Last a week I work with the virtual machine without problems! I launch the virtual machine and on host Windows 7 x86 (home) and on host Windows XP x64 (on work).

08/03/2011 downloaded and installed itself VBoxGuestAdditions-r70411.iso. Checked up stability of operation using a command: verifier.exe / all. The test has transited successfully!! Continue to work on this guest additions, and until what problems did not arise! Thanks!
