Description

Virtual machines' names sorted by name

They are listed by date of creation.

Preferably should be sorted by name and/or provide a way to sort (e.g. creation date, name, etc)

You can sort the list manually. On non-Windows hosts you can use the mouse to drag'n'drop the VMs, on Windows host drag'n'drop does not work (will be fixed in VBox 4.1) but you can use Ctrl+(Shift|Pos1|End|PgUp|PgDn) to sort the list. In a future VBox version there will be an additional menu entry for the context menu which will sort the VMs on request.

CTRL + SHIFT + CURSOR [UP] / [DOWN] does the job! :)
