Description
When bug reports are updated, email is sent out to the reporter (among others). The return email address is 'trac@…', and the subject line contains enough information for Trac to add the reply to the right ticket.
Unfortunately, trac@… does not exist; replies to that address bounce with the error:
----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors ----- <trac@virtualbox.org> (reason: 550 Unrouteable address) ----- Transcript of session follows ----- ... while talking to mail.virtualbox.org.: >>> DATA <<< 550 Unrouteable address 550 5.1.1 <trac@virtualbox.org>... User unknown <<< 503-All RCPT commands were rejected with this error: <<< 503-Unrouteable address <<< 503 Valid RCPT command must precede DATA
The ticket #305 from 2007 mentioned this as well, as an aside.
This looks like you need the email2trac plugin for Trac, available here: http://trac-hacks.org/wiki/EmailtoTracScript

Then perhaps you could change the email address to 'noreply@…' to make it clear that the return address on notification messages should not be used? Right now it just looks broken, rather than intentionally turned off.
We don't support adding information to tickets using E-mail (and we don't intent to add it).
