Description
This is certainly a minor issue but, as I noticed it since the very first VBox release I used a few years ago, I think it is worth noting.
When I have to choose a folder on the host system (XP) to make it act as a shared folder for a VM, the folder structure in the dialog always automatically expands to some folder which I never selected (Windows\System32, Programs\VirtualBox ...).
As the folder I want to share is (obviously) elsewhere, I always have to manually compress the structure ("-" button) and then expand the proper drive and tree branch to find the folder I want. This has to be done every time, even though the folder I want to choose is always the same.
I think the dialog should open showing the top system resources or, maybe better, the latest folder selected for sharing.
I know there are many other more important things but I hope to see this one, little and probably easy to fix but actually annoying, dealt with in a near future. I think many users (such as myself) noticed but never reported because of it being a very tiny thing that surely would be fixed soon...
So, is this actually a bug (or an oversight)? Is it easily fixable? Is it going to be fixed?
Thanks

I've no doubt about that.
As I said elsewhere, I do not pretend all posts to be followed by immediate care and fulfillment; that would be quite senseless, to say the least.
However, I think that a few feedback words in a fortnight, even just to say "we know, we're planning a fix" or "you are wrong", could be affordable.
So, what about that folder expansion thing? Do you think it is worth a fix or not?

Yes, this is fixable. Next time please keep your description shorter.
No one looked at this ticket? Did I make a... mistake in honestly classifying it as "minor"?
