Description (last modified by )
steps : create VM with virtualbox 1.5.0 with ethernet adapter set to DEADBEEF0000 as MAC. install 1.5.2. try and load VM. it borks. then hit the delete key it comes up with and try to create another vm with same name. it borks. then try to create again and see the screens which come up. i copied vm from win 32 bit virtualbox 1.5.0 to debian etch virtualbox 1.5.2 64 bit. i dont know if it could be due to that or simply a bug in 1.5.2...vm was an xp sp2 isntance.

Please reopen if still relevant with a recent VirtualBox release.
It's a bit different. You can't delete inaccessible machines. Its config file stays around and therefor you can't create another VM with the same name.
