do not pass focus to virtual system on app-switch

Reported by: macias Owned by:

Description (last modified by aeichner) (diff)

VB 1.4.0 however this applies also to VB 1.5.0. Opensuse 10.3, KDE 3.5.7.

Let's say I have opened KMail and VB (running WinXP). Both apps are maximized, KMail is active.

I switch app by pressint alt-tab, now VB is active but the focus is passed immediately to the guest system (winXP). So now I am "in" guest system.

WISH: please, make VB active as currently on task-switch but do not pass focus further. If user wants to do something within guest system, she/he should for example click LMB on the guest system area.

Since I like the VM to take keyboard control, I disagree.

However, I would agree to make that configurable.

Maybe I add small comment. The problem is I cannot switch back (btw. in KDE I use win+tab to switching apps, in windows it is alt+tab) -- when I switch to VB I cannot switch back, because now switching is only within windows apps.
