Ticket #7760 (closed defect: obsolete)
Running VBoxSVC.exe concurrently with different users renders host's USB inoperable until reboot

Description (last modified by aeichner) (diff)
This isn't consistently reproducible, but I am able to get it to happen as follows
Install the PUEL version and a service to run vbox as a service (I have my own C# code, but the one at http://code.google.com/p/virtualboxserverservice/downloads/detail?name=VBoxService-setup_220.127.116.11135-BETA.exe&can=2&q= can reproduce the behavior)
Stop and start VMs allowing the VBoxSVC.exe to exit and restart and overlap restarts/exit/running conditions.
Thereafter, new USB connections to the host will not be recognized, and USB devices will not be recognized by vbox.
My current workaround is to disable USB support in vbox.
