usb not available in ubuntu 10.10 64-bit -> configuration problem

In Ubuntu 10.10/64 Bit the usb ports are all greyed out: They are not available as VBoxManage shows. Brute changing the permissions sudo chmod -R 777 /dev/bus/usb/

solves the problem, but is probably not the solultion. THe output here is from 3.2.8, but only because I installed this version because of the same problems with 3.2.10

I have to cancel this bug report. Someone here noticed, that vboxusers has been no system group. Changing this the problem disappeared. Strange. Sorry.
