I try to produce the core dump according to http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Core_dump but did not succeed..

Thank you for your help

Looks like some out-of-memory condition. But actually your 2GB host should be able to start a VM with 917MB guest RAM...

comment:3 by Frank Mehnert, 14 years ago

Well, of course this depends a bit from your host. Other applications running in parallel to VirtualBox (or are you trying to run two VMs in parallel?) can be responsible for hogging memory ...

comment:4 by ginanjar utama, 14 years ago

I don't have any other applications running in parallel to VirtualBox, previous installed version of virtualbox in opensuse 11.0 is around 3.0.8 or something and it just running fine with 1024 MB guest RAM, when I upgrade to opensuse 11.3, I reinstall the virtualbox into 3.2.6 and using the same vdi harddisk it stops working,

Any other idea?

regards, Ginanjar Utama
