Upgrade or remove and install both have a problem with the host-only adapter

Description (last modified by aeichner)

I have noticed this since the release of 3.2.0 and thought the first time was just a fluke, but it has happened in every install since.

When upgrading the host-only adapter address is changed to the Windows default (network not attached) address 169.254.x.x and the DHCP server configuration is still as it should be at 192.168.56.101. Easy enough to fix by changing it in the network section of the VB GUI, but the problem is if you do not use the host-only adapter but install it this is effecting the Windows host, and if you do use it then the guest will not work until fixed. The Windows host keeps looking for the public network causing a lot of chatter and at times causes IE (I mainly use FF) to not be able to load pages.

I marked this as major due to the partial loss of network until reconfigured in the VirtualBox network section, making it difficult for non-techies to troubleshoot.

I have worked a few forum people through the process so figured I would report it here to see if it can be fixed.
