GA doesn't add vboxvideo to xorg.conf

I've been having black-screen problems and seamless mode not working correctly, and I eventually noticed that my xorg.conf didn't have the following line in the "Device" section:

Driver "vboxvideo"

Ubuntu 8.10 guests should not need that line. In fact I didn't even think that they had an xorg.conf file by default - was that a default guest install or did you create one manually?

It was a default guest install. I can't be sure that adding the line made any difference.

Afraid I can't even install 8.10 here (I think the installation CDs dislike the fact that the repositories are no longer available where they expect them to be), so I will have trouble testing this.
