Description
I use VirtualBox for two years now without problems. Unfortunately, since a few weeks every launch of VirtualBox creates a logfile (2010-05-01-10-30-36.015-VirtualBox-6995.log) in the root directory of my file system. I don't think that this is the right directory for logfiles. Is there any idea to change this behavior?
Thank you in advance for your support!

Please upload the VBox.log file from a VM session. Unfortunately we had accidentally a debug version of the Mac OS X dmg on our download server for 1 day when 3.1.6 was released. Maybe you installed such a version.

Thank you for your hint concerning the debug version of VirtualBox. I downloaded and installed it again, and don't have anymore such logfiles in my root directory.
Problem solved … Thank you!
