cannot kinit while VM that uses a bridged network adapter is running — at Initial Version

Description
I'm running Mac OS X 10.6.2 and VirtualBox 3.1.4. If I have a VM open that uses a NAT network adapter, kinit works fine. If I have a VM open that uses a bridged network adapter, kinit does not work:
crackmonkey:~ % kinit kinit: Unable to acquire credentials for 'jesse@…': Cannot contact any KDC for realm 'DOMAIN.COM'
