usb modems not working

Description
Usb modems dosnt work.I used both adsl one and a 3g one.Thouh its some what recognized it cannot communicate with modem.Othe virtualizations products works flawlessly..I tried both XP and ubuntu as guests.

i did have the same problem with win7(host) and xp sp3(guest), and i've tried with 3.1.4 and 3.1.6 too with the same result. i use my old nokia N70 as modem, it worked and recognized, but after a minute or two the connection freeze, no data transfer at all. now i'm using 3.0.14 and the problem fixed. i want to send the log files, but i have deleted the setup files, and i'm quite happy with 3.0.14.
