Looks like a bug in your opengl driver. Disabling 2d & 3d support helps?

comment:2 Changed 4 years ago by jedioetzi

disabling 2d support has completed the shutdown without freeze the system, the 3d was already disabled

comment:4 Changed 4 years ago by jedioetzi

not 2D driver problem?
the 3D support was disabled when crash has happen

comment:5 Changed 4 years ago by frank

Note that guest acceleration for 2D is mapped to the 3D host drivers.

I confirm this problem. in my case it's still happening even when I disable 2D support I uses Fedora 11 and VBox 3.1.2 on an Acer Travelmate 6292 with intel VGA card.

The only solution was to press the power button.
