The CPU of my computer is Intel E5200, don't support VT-X.But vbox told to me: it's support. But the check is disable in the setting page. So I think the bug is the function create VM.

I think this bug is in the file which named VBoxNewWMWzd.cpp Function name is "constructMachine". Because i cann't debug it, so I don't know where is the bug.

Not really. Your CPU does not support VT-x. I agree that the VM setting is not entirely correct but VT-x is grayed out which means that this mode is not available.

You need to download 3.0.10 again as you got the version that contains the last minute bug.

The newest version (VirtualBox-3.0.10-54097-Win.exe) still has this bug.

Strange crash. Are you booting from the ISO or from the VDH?

comment:8 by Allan, 14 years ago

You are right. The virtual machine will crash when booting from ISO or VDH.
