I just got a guest crash when trying to move a window, with compiz v0.8.3 (git version) running. That window's texture became garbled, and compiz threw out these opengl warnings right before the crash:
OpenGL Warning: vboxCall failed with c OpenGL Warning: SHCRGL_GUEST_FN_WRITE_READ (3752016) failed with ffffffdb 0 OpenGL Warning: vboxCall failed with c OpenGL Warning: SHCRGL_GUEST_FN_WRITE_READ (2307400) failed with ffffffdb 0 OpenGL Warning: vboxCall failed with c OpenGL Warning: SHCRGL_GUEST_FN_WRITE_READ (3032044) failed with ffffffdb 0 OpenGL Warning: vboxCall failed with c OpenGL Warning: SHCRGL_GUEST_FN_WRITE_READ (3892364) failed with ffffffdb 0 OpenGL Warning: vboxCall failed with c OpenGL Warning: SHCRGL_GUEST_FN_WRITE_READ (3729184) failed with ffffffdb 0
I also got the message below earlier when starting compiz, if it's relevant:
OpenGL Warning: No pincher, please call crStateSetCurrentPointers() in your SPU
Host: OS X 10.6.1 Guest: Ubuntu 9.04
