Failed to attach USB device - DVDROM

Description
running virtualbox as root I tried to attach an USB DVDROM - virtual one from ILOM KVM (from Devices/USB Devices/blah), it failed saying:
Failed to attach the USB device "blah" to the virtual machine "blah"

Could you please try with VirtualBox 3.1 (requires solaris nevada 124 or higher) and reopen this ticket if the problem exist.

oh ... and it seems doing above as unprivileged user has some issues even in settings ( http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=8641&start=60#p75805 )
