Reported by: | Christopher | Owned by: | |

Component: | VMM | Version: | VirtualBox 3.0.0 |

Description
Virtual Box will crash the system (Cause instantaneous system reset, no debug information could be gathered) when trying to capture the input on a system that also has Hyper-V enabled. This has been tested with using all 64-bit SKUs (Standard, enterprise and Datacenter) of Server 2008 and Server 2008 R2 (Beta and RC1)
Problem also appears whether Virtualization extensions are enabled or not

Added myself to this topic. This looks similar in spirit to bug #3724
It would be good if VirtualBox can detect incompatible software, and refuse to run. (like coLinux (see bug #3724) or Hyper-V)

AFAIR there was a fix/workaround some releases ago, please try the latest release, VBox 3.2.6. Closing.
Turn off Hyper-V. Known problem when sharing VT-x.
