Virtualbox install silently aborts on Windows 2K SP4

Description
Using http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/2.2.4/VirtualBox-2.2.4-47978-Win.exe, the installer starts to run on 2K, popping up the 'Windows installer' window for a brief second, then silently aborting.
Looking at the MSI log file, it appears to be running the 64-bit msi, instead of a 32-bit one? MSI (c) (24:6C) [14:52:05:656]: * RunEngine:

Windows 2k is not a supported host platform. It should present a proper error though.

This error still persists on Windows 2000 hosts as of VBox 3.1.0.

This should be fixed in the next release of VBox.
