windows cannot start after the first part of booting

Description
I a new virtual machine. I used the backup of a well running WindowsXP boot partition to create the system drive. After starting the first part shows a black window and nothing happened. I restartet the virtual mashine and got from the VirtualBox - Guru Meditation: "A fatal error was happened and the running mashine was stopped."
