Description
Hello, once again.
I use VBox (short for Virtual Box) plus Microsoft's Virtual PC and they both use different virtual hard disk file types.
VPC creates *.VHD files. VBox reads them ok. But, VBox created *.VDI disks. VPC will let them be in the guest settings dialog, but when you hit ok it (rudely, id say) clicks back to the virtual hdd with the error. Typical, yeah?
Well, for compambility both ways I would like to know: can VirtualBox be forced to create VHD rater than VHI??
Thanks. ±-)
I don't think that we will create .vhd files by default. We consider to switch to .vmdk eventually but we only think about it so far...
