Description
Download IE6-XPSP3.exe from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=21EABB90-958F-4B64-B5F1-73D0A413C8EF&displaylang=en
extract the file called "XP SP3 with IE6 2008-Dec.vhd"
Run it in VirtualBox.

What makes you think this is a VirtualBox problem? You can't just move Windows installations from one machine to another. This is true for real hardware and for VMs with different virtual hardware. See http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Migrate_Windows
