Description
Running the Linux Kernel 2.6.9-78 with all of the latest updates for CentOS 4.7
It seems to work just fine until I installed the "Guest Additions". After the reboot, the screen looks rather funky (please see attached images). It seems that I can interact with the screen, but the display is all jumbled up and its more or less impossible for me to do anything.
However, if I were to switch to a terminal (as in, hit Ctrl+Alt+F1), it screen looks just fine. Therefore, I think its just a problem with X.

Could you please retry this with 2.1.4 when it is available? You will need to reinstall the Guest Additions using the version from 2.1.4.

Could you give this a try with version 2.2.0 and the 2.2.0 Guest Additions? Thanks.

Ok, it seems to work fine with version 2.2.0. The only minor problem was that the screen vs. desktop size was initially off but after manually setting the resolution, everything was normal (seems more like a CentOS problem than Virtualbox's). Therefore, I would say its fixed.
