Version of VirtualBox:OSE from SVN 3 days ago OS Version:Windows XP Home Edition Machine:Intel Centrino 1.4 Ghz Notebook (can provide more detail if needed) p.s.VirtualBox.exe also shows same message

After updating to Revision 2448 it works via VBoxManage createhostif "Test If" GUI Create via VirtualBox.exe also works. Console/GUI removal works tool with R2448. Case can be closed now.
