Could you be more specific please? This should actually work.

Setup: 1.3.99-beta1 running on Mac OS X

Use GUI to: (1) Create a new virtual machine (2) Create a disc image file (3) Close GUI

Now delete manually the file <<

(4) Start GUI (5) Try to delete the virtual machine

Works fine for me. Is your VM powered off when you try to delete it? Are there snapshots?

Yes, the vm was powered off and there were snapshots.

This is actually working as designed. You have to first delete all snapshots before you can actually delete the VM. It was done in order to reduce complexity and will be addressed later.
