Description
When booting xen (actualy a Knoppix/XEN live CD), and depending on the config of the virtual machine I got these situations:
1- If VT-x is dehactivated (whatever the option selected for the Nested Paging), XEN stops at "reliquishing the VGA console", and is not able of starting the Dom0.
2- If VT-x is activated, XEN is not starting at all! With VirtualBox 2.0.6, I was able to run XEN with VT-x activated, and after, Dom0 start with no problem.
PS: Does VirtualBox emulates the VT-x instructions to the guest OS? Although my hardware supports VT-x, XEN reports that the CPU is not VT-x compatible!

I'm running now the the live cd[1] from the book "Running Xen"[2] without problems. It boots fine and I can create any of the domU images that come included with the cd.
What I can't do is boot a fresh CentOS 5.2 install with a xen kernel, it hangs when trying to load the kernel. So, VirtualBox is indeed capable of running nested hardware virtualization, but it seems it can't in some cases.

Nested hardware virtualization is not supported.
