VM TERMINATED after installing guest additions on XP guest OS.

Description
I have a ubuntu 8.04 host machine and winXP SP2 guest OS on xVM 2.1.2 Options of VM:
ACPI:Enabled; IO APIC:Disabled; VT-x/AMD-V:Enabled; Nested Paging:Disabled; PAE/NX:Disabled; 3D Acceleration:Enabled; IDE Controller Type: PIIX4;
After I have installed Guest OS additions guest OS can't startup. After showing initialization screen and showing mouse cursor guest OS terminated. May be the Guest OS Additions isn't reason of termination.

Strange. Can you boot this VM with VirtualBox 2.1.4? Can you uninstall the guest additions when the guest is in safe mode?
