Description

Hello! I downloaded and installed VBox 2.1.0 to my real host machine in OS WinXP SP2. I installed on virtual machine OS Kubuntu 8.10 (I turn on 3d accelerated also) That's all worked not bad, but i have no rigth resolution (only 800x600 anf 640x480). Then I installed VBoxLinuxAdditions-x86.run bu type sudo ./VBoxLinuxAdditions-x86.run I reboot and I see correct resolution (1024x768 and others) But after the VBoxLinuxAdditions-x86.run was installed I can not switch between text and graphic terminal by press usually combination ctrl-alt-Fn (ctrl-alt-F1; ctrl-alt-F2 and etc does not work now) Also does not work keyboard layout switch in X-server (KDE 4.1) When i manually stoped x-server /etc/init.d/kdm stop I switch in first text terminal and combination ctrl-alt-Fn and keyboard layout switch work in text mode very well. So how I can uninstall VBoxLinuxAdditions-x86.run and is it bug or I do somethings not right?

This is fixed in SVN. For now you can work around this by installing the 2.0.6 guest additions at http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/2.0.6/VBoxGuestAdditions_2.0.6.iso.

When will this be available for download? It is a major issue I would have hoped was caught in regression testing.

Your second sentence did not add any information. There is no ETA for the next release, as usual.
