Mouse and keyboards stops after a while in Age of Empires II

1) start Virtualbox (2.0.6) 2) launch AoE II 3) start a new game, go fullscreen 4) play for a while (~30 seconds) 5) keyboard and mouse stops responding 6) mouse visible only "outside" the game part of the screen, only in the "border" 7) after a while game starts scrolling as if the mouse were on the screen edge 8) after pressing ctrl alt f1 (text console), mouse can be used again 9) go to point 4)
