Description
I've just installed VirtualBox 2.0.4 on my Windows XP SP2 desktop machine.
On trying to start VirtualBox, I see a process called VBoxSVC.exe jump to 100% cpu utilisation of one of the two processor cores and stay there. This process is only using 5Mb of ram but stays steady at 100% usage of one of the cores until I terminate it in the task manager.
There's also one process called VirtualBox.exe present that consumes no cpu and only about 7.8Mb of ram.
However, I get no gui app to start or create VMs and VBoxSVC.exe stays at 100% cpu usage.
Please reopen if this problem persists with the latest release (2.2.2).
