Howdy,
I have just installed the file mentioned above and, again, am seeing the following error(?) messages. Are they a problem?
By the way, several of the pull down menus in the "main" window appear to be empty. i.e., no text present. The items appear to be functional though... Their usefulness is somewhat less than one would desire though.

I had the same problem on version 7.1.6, try reinstalling virtualbox
