Initial Creation of Host Network Interface fails with VBoxNetAdpCtl error

After instllation of Virtual Box version 7.0.12r159484(Qr5.15.9) on Oracle Linux Release 9.1 attempting to create the Host Network Interface. Clicking the Create icon in the gui after a moment a dialog box pops up with following information

VBoxNetAdpCtl: Error while adding new interface failed to open /dev/vboxnetctl:No such file or directory.

Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE(0x80004005)

Please open a terminal on the Linux host and use "ls -lR /dev/vbox*" to show the owners and permissions of VirtualBox's devices.
