I would like the option to make sidebar to auto disapear after n seconds

Description
I like the sidebar for the messages, which I believe was introduced at V7.0.
I would like there to be an option to auto hide the side bar after a configurable number of seconds with 0 being the default which is as now where the sidebar does not hide itself.
My Host is Windows Server 2022 My Guest is Windows 7 Professional
